Getting the message out is a crucial step in the business communication process. Whether your audience members are customers, investors, employees or trade associations, video's flexibility gives you a wide range of presentation options.

Direct Response Television has proven to be very profitable for certain classes of consumer products. We can work with you, your marketing department, media buyer and fulfillment house to produce high impact commercials and infomercials.

Business meetings almost always have video projection capabilities. With video, you can dazzle your audience with a professional audio-visual presentation that will stand out from the never ending drone of Power Point slide shows. For larger audiences, projection video combined with a concert sound system can have big audience impact.

Point of Purchase video can act as a moving poster to attract customers to your products. To make the most of POP video, your products need to be merchandised directly with the video presentation and the sales message needs to be short and to the point.

Take Home and Advertising Response videos get your message into the consumer's home and present your products in their most positive light.  Video has a higher perceived value than brochures and junk mail. In B2B relationships, video can send the same message to all of your customers or associates.

On the WEB, video can be used for short messages. Higher speed connections make short form videos a potential message medium.  The WEB is still best used to attract customer interest with a video follow-up using conventional media.

Designing Your Show

We sit down with you and your key people to determine how video can best serve your business needs. Working together, we examine your current communications environment and explore how best to integrate video into your company's image. This process also gives us an opportunity to identify your company's staff resources. Their participation in the project will reduce your costs and leave you with valuable in-house knowledge.

We identify your audience. Whether staff or customer, in-house or general public, each audience has specific needs. When we understand your audience, we can best define the message to be conveyed, the expected results, the time frame for production and the available resources.

We get to know your message. Business videos should entertain, educate, and motivate the viewers. Entertain to keep them tuned into your message. Educate because it's your message that you want to convey. Motivate because you want your audience to take action.

We write a treatment. A treatment is a short description of your show describing the principal story points, the production approach, and visual style. It is much like a review of a production, written before the fact. The treatment helps to focus the direction of the video and communicates to you the scope of the final production.

We write a script. The script is a word for word document which includes all of the narration, dialog, settings and graphics text. The script includes descriptions of the images, locations and visual elements. It will have an indication of the music and sound effects as needed. The script is a detailed blueprint for the production. In some cases story boards, or additional still images will be created to more clearly define the intended effect. For interviews, the exact words will not be known in advance, but the topic area, story points and available time will be defined in the script. We've been around long enough to expect changes during the creative process. Making changes early reduces costs and improves the production.

We create a detailed budget based on the script and storyboards. We budget projects on either a time and materials basis or on a project basis. Because we are fully equipped and have access to the finest Hollywood crews, we are able to produce broadcast quality work at competitive pricing. For well defined programs, project basis budgeting assures on time and on budget production.

Production

Production is the process of creating the images and sounds that will make up your video presentation. Using the script as a road map, we will develop all of the pictures, graphics, narration, dialog, sound effects and music that are needed to best tell your story.

Studio Production includes all images shot under the controlled conditions of a professional studio. Included can be product shots, narration, interviews, and special action. The studio allows the production team to control all aspects of the production process including lighting, camera position and sound.

Field Production is the process of image gathering on location. Our crews can capture plant operations, staff and customer interviews, examples of finished products and their use. Field production has the immediacy of live television and can add a real world feel.

Stock Footage is existing video that can help tell your story. Sources can include video that you have previously shot and library footage that can take the viewer to places that would otherwise be out of budget.

Post Production

Post-Production is the process of combining all of the source elements into a finished program. More than just editing, post-production clarifies and focuses your message with pacing, rhythm and multiple layers.

Editing sequences the images and sounds into a coherent story. Starting with the script and the log of shots, a narration is built up using the latest computerized non-linear video editing tools. Computerized non-linear editing allows the editor to manipulate the pictures and sounds with the flexibility of a word processor, easily trying alternative sequences and producing customized versions for a range of audiences.

Narration, Music and Sound Effects are key elements which carry not only the text of your message but also establish an emotional mood and connection with the audience. We will record your narration in our own digital music studio and select sound effects from our extensive library. Music can be custom composed or selected from a wide range of professionally produced background tracks.

Graphics create a company and product image as well as illustrate key story points. Complex computer graphics are created, off-line, by talented graphic artists who know the best way to use the video image. These elements are then integrated into the program with additional motion and titling. Graphic logos and title animations can be used in a series of programs to maximize their value.

Duplication and Distribution

Video Duplication is remarkably affordable. VHS and DVD technology is mature and virtually trouble free. Everyone knows how to use a VCR or DVD player. Unlike computers that are finicky and subject to compatibility problems, video tape is simple and reliable. The duplication options on tape can range from single copies to tens of thousands, and unlike print, there are no film and setup charges. You can duplicate to order, reducing inventory and capital outlay.

DVD and CD-ROM technologies can bring high quality video to the desk top. DVD-Video can also be used for point of purchase displays, informational kiosks, business meetings and direct mail distribution.

Internet Streaming is a low cost way to broadcast video messages from a Web Site.  Faster web connections promise better viewer experiences. We employ special production methods to greatly improve the appearance of Web Videos. We can help you make the most of your online video presence.
